Criminal complaint against Warne

Rajasthan Cricket Association today (May 15) decided to lodge a criminal complaint against Rajasthan Royals captain Shane Warne at a local court for allegedly abusing its secretary Sanjay Dixit after an IPL match in Jaipur, ignoring the apology from the legendary Australian. The Legal Affairs Committee of RCA today held a meeting and considered the apology letter sent by Royals CEO Sean Morris but was unable to take cognizance in the absence of any details.

Shane Warne in fresh trouble

Rajasthan Cricket Association Secretary Sanjay Dixit has claimed that Rajasthan Royals Skipper Shane Warne texted him to ask pitch curator to meddle with wicket for the match against Royal Challengers Bangalore. Dixit claimed that after refusing to do so Shane Warne called him a cheater. The RCA Secretary also claims that Shilpa Shetty apologised to him for Warne’s jibe. Giving a new twist to the controversy over the Sawai Mansingh wicket in Jaipur, Rajasthan Royals skipper Shane Warne termed the “instructions” to make a new strip for the side’s remaining home games in the Indian Premier League as “ridiculous”. “In the past four years we have never been told to play on any particular wicket. It is ridiculous to have instructions for pitch,” a fuming Warne said after his side suffered a 63-defeat to Chennai Super Kings.
